This is extremely cool work. Keep it up! I like the simple way things are done.

I know this is a "you cannot be allowed to walk before everyone tells you to run" question, but here goes. Can the same simple principles as you use here be applied to 3D physics? Erin seems to hint at it in the GDC presentation slides. Is this something that this project will go for in the future?

1st, glad you like it so far.

Yes, this could all be applied to 3D, but of course it would take a bit more work. I don't currently have any plans to take my stuff 3D mostly due to time constraints. I have a LOT I want to do 2D-wise yet.

I understand there is an effort to port the Bullet Physics engine to c#, so that would make an excellent 3D XNA engine if they can pull it off. (look for the XPA project on CodePlex)

So, for me it's 2D for the forseeable future.
