I've got a floor object and another non-static object, and when they touch there doesn't seem to be any friction between the two. It just sort of slides around like it's on ice.

Is there something I'm not doing?

Make sure you're setting FrictionCoefficient properties of the two geometries to something other than zero.

Also, the FrictionCoefficient should be between 0 and 1. 0=no friction 1=100% friction.

Okay, thanks. It wasn't in the docs.

That's nice to know, I was setting values like 1.3 etc...

Also, the friction coef that will be used is the minimum friction coef of the two colliding geometries.

Well that sounds weird. Shouldn't it average them or something?

I think there are various theories on this and I just chose one of them. Not sure what engine I took this from.
