Hey Everyone.

I'm trying to assemble a list projects that have used or are using the Farseer Physics Engine.

If you are using Farseer and/or know of any projects large or small using Farseer please post here with a brief description and a link if there is one.

You can also email me if you prefer: jeffweber at live.com

Thanks,

I'm creating a game using the engine. Lots of fun so far. I'll let you know when I get something to look at.

I'm working on an action platformer with a few people. I am using Farseer for the physics response. You can check out a video demonstrating the physics side of it at http://wahwahweewah.blogspot.com/

I've created a a WinForms Physics Editor to use to create complex physics objects easily like ropes or vehicles.
Its got a content builder built into it as well, so you would create a circle / square / custom shape, then right click the object and browse for a texture on your PC.

Once you have built your object, you can save it to an XML file to use in your game.

If anyone is interested let me know.

I'm working on an XNA game based (loosely) on gymnastics, using a control scheme similar to Ski Stunt, or your own diving game, crashlander, so I know you'll appreciate :)

farseer has been a pleasure to use so far! Hopefuly I'll have more details to post on the game soon.

meanwhile here's a video link to the original prototype to test the control scheme:

@walaber,

Very cool video. The movement looked pretty realistic. Looks like a perfect match for the Ski Stunt control scheme.

How is the accuracy of the analog sticks for this kind of control scheme? Did you need to do any "tricks" to smooth out the analog control?

I'd like to eventually bring Diver to the XBox but was unsure of the XBox controllers.

Looks like it's working ok for you.

Sounds pretty cool to me. Did you put it anywhere?

Remember, just click once. If it's taking a long time, try opening another window to see if it went through. This is a CodePlex problem, but you should still be able to avoid it.

@crashlander-

so far the sticks have been just fine. you do need to realize though that XNA's GamePad.GetState() defaults to having "axis independent" deadzones, which causes problems, because the returned Vector2 likes to "stick" to the 4 major axis'. you have to specify that you want "circular" dead zones, and then everything is fine.

btw there is a new trailer for my game up:

Hi,
I'm playing around with the engine for a few days. That's what came out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rKRFJW3FFqg
If someone wants to help me a little with some ideas or whatever just send me a message. It's only a funproject I work on when I find some time.
Hope you enjoy.
