Physics object not affected by certain physics

I'm trying to make a "bouncing bird". It consists of a perfect circle with two wings that should flap when the "bird" is bouncing. What I want to achieve is that the perfect circle will be bouncing up and down in the same spot which it does when no wings are attached. When the wings are attached it rotates the ball because of gravity affecting the wings.

Is it possible to exclude those wing objects from certain forces, like gravity? How else could I achieve this behaviour?

The best way is probably to just draw the wings without having them in the physics engine. Even if you exclude the wings from gravity, they will still affect the bouncing ball because the ball will have to drag them when it moves.
