Farseer Physics and Sunburn Engine

Sep 2, 2011 at 3:22 PM

Was just wondering if anyone in the Farseer Community is using Farseer and Sunburn together. If so what are your experiences with it. Thanks in advance

I've toyed with it a bit using my Pro license.  However, Sunburn, currently, has dedicated most of their attention to 3D features.  There are a number of useful features in the way of lighting, but if you are not using renderable effects, the benefits are not as significant.  The editor is not intended for 2D asset importing, and the shadow features won't translate well.  If you'd like to know more, drop me a line and I can go into greater detail.

Also, Matt Bechter (Farseer developer) made a demonstration that you can see on the Sunburn forums (or YouTube) integrating some of their renderer features with Farseer's physics.  He may be able to shed more light on it, as well.
