Disabled Bodies still calculated in collisions?

I'm using a single physicsSimulator to simulate a lot of objects that can't be updated all at once, so I just enable->Update->disable each body as I need to update it.  However, I do need each object to be calculated for collisions against other objects, even if they're disabled.    Does it calculate collisions even if the body is disabled?  ( Body.Enabled=false )
