Joint "stiffness"

I am trying to figure out a method to create a joint that is "stiff", rather more specifically a revolute joint that has an extra variable, stiffness, that limits the joints ability to flex given a force. I would have imagined that this was already in the engine somewhere but I have played with every option and have not found something acceptible. Maybe I am missing something? But is there a good place to start to add this functionality into my code? Even if it means having to code a new joint called stiff revolute joint that would be fine but I have no idea where to begin.

My final goal is having a double (percentage) that I apply to the revolute joint that limit the bodies movement. IE 0.0 (0%) would be normal operation, 0.5 (50%) would be rotate as much as 0% given twice the force, and 1.0 (100% stiff) would be a joint that doesnt rotate at all.

AngleSpringJoints would produce a similar effect.

Thanks, I'll give it a shot and see if I can get the results i want.
