How to get jointError in Farseer 3.3.1

how do i get the stress of a joint? in Farseer 2 you can get it using public variable jointError, but in Farseer 3, the jointError variable seems only exist in validate function.

Don't GetReactionForce(inv_dt) and GetReactionTorque(inv_dt) suffice? They should return the linear and angular forces required for the joint to maintain its constraints. Depending on how you define stress or tension this can be exactly what you need.

thx for the reply. but what is inv_dt parameter? is it arbitrary? i'm not using that function as i assumed it it's required for internal to the engine(it doesn't give much information in the source code, ,i've googled it too though).

inv_dt is simply the inverse of the timeStep (i.e. 1/timeStep). I agree it's not documented very clearly.
