I'm just playing around with ideas but trying to get basic velocity applied to an object (as opposed to using human input). So basically creating an object and launching it in the game (maybe with a single tap).
I've create a body and got all the various things done to it to make it somewhat complete (attaching a fixture, etc.) and it displays onscreen falls to a ground object I have.
I've tried applying various methods like .ApplyLinearImpulse and .ApplyForce to it to try to get it launch (say at a 45 degree angle) but all I can get it to do is bounce up a bit then stop.
I can post some code if you need more context but obviously I'm missing something important here. Again, I'm just trying to do basic "launch an object" type thing here, nothing fancy.
