Minimising the impact a Joined Body has.

Hello all.

I am really enjoying getting back to grips with Farseer, lots of fun fiddling about.

I am trying to simulate a person standing ontop of a flying vehicle. (the person is a constructed from bodies/strings and joints in a vaguely flung together fashion).

The person is attached to the vehicle with a couple of strings, but I want to minimise the impact of the persons mass on the control of the vehicle.

At the moment I have the vehicle being quite substantially heavier, but it isn't really working.

Should I just keep increasing the difference in mass between the vehicle and the person until the person has no noticable impact, or is there another way to approach this?

Thanks very much

Just in case anyone else runs into this, i resolved it by using fixed springs (fixed to the world) and updating the fixation point so that it was in the correct relative position to the vehicle.

Now the person follows the vehicle around in a springy fashion, without in anyway physically affecting it.
