The Applied Force on Objects

May 28, 2009 at 7:13 PM

I cant see the applied force on a body in the simulation time.

I always get zero in X and y.

I used the force property in The Body Class?

Use the ApplyForce() method to apply force to bodies.

I dont want to Apply Force to a body,

I want to see the Forces applied on a body at a moment of time, like Force applied by the gravity of when the body collides with another one.

when I use the Force property from The body class I always see zeros in both X and Y.

Can you help me?

Check the linear velocity not the force

check the Body.LinearVelocity.x and y

look, I dont need the velocity, I need the applied forces at the body at a moment of time.

Sorry i didnt realize considering force is relative to the bodies velocity

if the force property is not working then do an oncollision event

or a collision check that will report back the change in velocity on a collision

thats the only work around i see being possibility

thats all the help i can offer
