Motor Joint without the joint

a fixed revolute joint makes something rotate properly when i attach a motor to it and it spins while being held in place in the world.
a normal revolute joint with a motor makes one object spin on another while being pinned to the first object.

What i want is a motor kinda thing that applys a rotational force to an object and is pinned to that object but that still allows the object to move freely in the world...
Think of a spinning round ball that is traviling up a hill because it has a rotational force being applyed to it.

Any ideas?

Attach the body with a normal revolute joint with a motor to another one with a FixedAngleJoint (without geom) and you should be set.
