I've been doing a little bit of exploring into optimization. I was wondering if anyone on this forum
new what is possibly the joint that is the least "expensive" to use.
I find this in an interesting topic, because when constructing a ragdoll, for instance, it may make sense
to perhaps use a revolute joint because they would seem to be the least expensive, but using them makes
collisions more likely than say a pin-joint that keeps the anchors away from each other. So, now you have
the question, 'when does adding arbiters give me diminishing returns in performance?'
I am just curious to know if anyone knew any information on the topic.
