breaking

Hello iv created a game with a motobike its a 2d platformer

i can flip the bike and accelerate but can not come up with a good methord for breaks.

iv tryed reducing the anglevel of the wheels and also try anglelimitjoints with no sucess.

any help will be appricated. thanks

Try using a plain AngleJoint instead of an AngleLimitJoint. If it jumps after applying the joint you will have to calculate the angle between the bodies first and set that angle on the joint.

If it takes too long to slow down try increasing the friction on the wheels.

If you are using RevoluteJoints with motors you can also set the MotorSpeed = 0 and set the MaxMotorTorque to something high.
