Need some help understanding ScalingController implementation

Hi guys,

I'm working along with others to integrate Farseer 2.1.3 in Torque X. I'm trying to understand how to keep a constant behaviour and I hit the ScalingController but I can't find any example explaining how to use it.

I tried to use its UpdateInterval to update the simulator (Update(UpdateInterval, dt))  but I don't really see any difference: any help understanding this?

The ScalingController is used in variable timestep scenarios. It can be used to update the physics engine less often when the game is under load and then back to normal when the game is running smooth.

If you need a consistent behavior, you need to use a fixed timestep.
