Hello, every body.

I have some problems to develop a bit game using farseer physics engine.

I hope to get impules or force of body hitted by others ,then if the force or impules has more value than some value, it must be disappeared.

how can I do?

Please, help me.

Thank you in advice.

Where can I find it? can I find it in XNA Framework or Farseer physics engine?
Please help me.

It's in  FarseerPhysics.Dynamics.Contacts

using FarseerPhysics.Dynamics.Contacts;

... at the top of your Class.

unfortunatly, I have not got the namespace you have just give me.

How can i do if so?

Are you using FP3?

Oct 1, 2010 at 6:19 PM

NO, I am using 2.01

Oct 1, 2010 at 6:27 PM

I am converting my version to FP3 now.

But can you tell me where there is geom class in even FP3?

FP3 doesn't use geoms, and has an entirely different scale system. As I understand it, it's not recommended to upgrade a project from earlier versions to 3.

You'll probably want to do some severe reading-around FP3 before messing with your project.

do you mean I can't use everything supported by earlier version in FP3?

There are several different ways to calculate the impact force in FPE 2.x.

FPE 3.0 support everything that FPE 2.x did - it uses different algorithms and thus the "feel" of the engine is not the same. FPE 3.0 is a lot more advanced than 2.x, and I only recommend upgrading if 3.0 contains some features that are needed in the game.

As I understand it, no. You can code around things, but it strikes me as an awful lot of trouble to do so.

Thank you Genbox.

I am going upgrading my project as you said.

But what can I use instead of Geom Class in FP3?

Thank you for your worring of me , thezombiecow.

But I am going to upgrade.

Thank you if you support me . ..

I need someone to give me simple sample for farseer engine 3.0 and XNA 4.0.

Please help me . . .

I didn't understand  FP 3.0.

I am the duration for upgrading from 2.0 to 3.0.

But because there is no 3.0 good simple sample, I can't do anything in my proj.

The HelloWorld sample under Downloads is nice and simple.

thank you.

But I mean how and where I can find it.

At the top left of this page, there's a link to the 'downloads' section. It's there, last one on the list.

I have already ever done it.

But I can't build it.

My envirement is XNA 4.0, VS 2010, FP 3.0.

I need good sample for my envirement.

Could you help me?
