Line to body collision

I'm trying to do a grappling hook game. I had already done the special case physics to make the systems work, but figured I'd port to farseer so I could perhaps have a more robust system with more options should I want to expand any behaviors.

In the game you can shoot a grappling line and a joint will form wherever along the line it connects with a node. The closest thing I could think of would be to make a rectangle geom that sits at the mid point of the line (updated each frame) and lengthens to match the size of the line. It didn't look like I could dynamically alter the size of the geom, however.

Any ideas?
