Hey folks, did somebody of you create successfully a Body with BodyType.Kinematic?


I do get some runtime errors.

Creating kinematic bodies is my favorite extracurricular activity. I do it all the time. We do it in the testbed quite successfully on a regular basis, too.

So i guess some details on the error or a sample of your creation code might be helpful?

all i do is in a new DemoScreen:

            _kinematicRectangles[0] = FixtureFactory.CreateRectangle(World, 2, 2f, 1, material);
            _kinematicRectangles[0].Body.BodyType = BodyType.Kinematic;
            _kinematicRectangles[0].Body.Position = new Vector2(5, 1);

I can compile and run the "game" but if i want to click into the rectangle, an error occurs!
