Removing the elastic effect of a chain

I'm creating a grapple type functionality, in my game where a chain (modified farseer chain class) with a clamp grabs simple shapes and can move them around.

My problem is that once too much weight has been applied to the chain, the revolute joints connecting the chain links turn elastic like and the chain links separate.

How can I keep the revolutejoints absolute so the chain acts like a chain rather than a rubber band?

You need to add a rope joint. Look at the rope sample in the Farseer samples.
