Flat box floor, better broken into chunks?

From here: http://www.farseergames.com/storage/farseerphysics/Manual2.1.htm#_Toc213068514 I'm under the impressionw hen you have terrain made of several polygons it would be a good idea to break them off into chunks for performance. Makes sense really (and I'm a dumb ass for not doing that in my games).

So my question now is, would the same apply for a flat box? Woudl it be better to have a large box (say 1000x20) to represent the floor or a bunch of smaller (like 5x 200x20) boxes instead?
