Sticky Wall

I'm slowly learning how to get some neat physics into this game I am working on, but having some trouble figuring out how to make a "sticky wall" of sorts.

I want to have a round object hit say a rectangle, and when it does, it doesn't bounce, but sticks. I know how to just keep it there, but I want it to slowly follow gravity, so if the rectangle is at a 90 degree angle, long ways, and the gravity is down, it would appear to slowly fall down.  When it gets to the end of the rectangle, it would "let go" and fall as normal.

 

Right now I have it on contact, creating a joint, and holding the round object in place... Any help would be great. Thanks!

I think I figured out a good solution... I change the bodies Restitution to 0 on contact, the on seperation, I set the Restitution back to what it was. It works fairly well.
