Different frictions for different sides of a Rectangle.

Just wondered how you do it (I imagine it's pretty easy)

Do you define it differently than a normal rectangle body?

You could have a different rectangle making up each side, and then use weld joints to combine them.  Or if only one side is ever rubbing against anything else at a time, you could write a collision handler that changes the friction based on which side is colliding.

The only problem with rectangles is that they create problems and inconsistencies like you can see in the left square. The good or correct way to do it would be like the one in the right, to use less vertices and also avoid problems with clipped parts. http://img832.imageshack.us/img832/4387/problemsv.png
