Linear Friction (not Angular)

I've come back to Farseer and XNA after some time away in the land of Web.

I'm making a Pong game, I don't want any friction applied the the ball, however, I still want it to rotate.
When I set .Friction to 0, I get the desired unslowing movement, but of course the ball doesn't rotate.
I know there is Linear and Angular Dampening, so I was wondering if there is the same for Friction, or some way to create the desired effect?
Or perhaps I could call the ApplyAngularImpulse method in the ball's OnCollision event, but then how would I find out what the rotation should be?

Any ideas?

Could you explain a little more as to why you need the Friction set to 0? What do you mean about the "desired unslowing movement"? Are you saying that the ball loses energy when it bounces off the paddle because of the Friction? If so, just try increasing the Restitution on the paddle.
